- Last Saturday, 25th November, was the International Day against Gender Violence. In Spain, more than 60 women have been killed by their partners so far this year. This situation is not different in England or the USA. Domestic violence is the main reason of mortality for women aged 15-45, above car accidents or cancer. Why do you think this happens?

Did you know that a woman in Spain was not a "legal person" until 1975?
That's to say, that: - she couldn't buy or sell properties,
- she couldn't have a bank account of her own,
- she couldn't work or receive her wages WITHOUT HER HUSBAND, FATHER, or even a far COUSIN'S PERMISSION?

Some say that men are nowadays no longer sure of how to deal with women, since women are much more self-sufficient, self-confident and no longer in need of male protection like before. Maybe men feel that they are loosing control and, therefore, react with violence in order to stop loosing whatever they might think they were entitled to...?
yes,because the women always have been inferiority respet to the men and they though superioty to the woman.

I believe that human beings share too much with animals. Our flesh, our "animal" part hasn't caught up our minds' development throughout the history of humanity yet. And the natural system has to guarantee survival by means of biological reproduction. That's why so many people still think women have to stay at home taking care of children and avoiding participation in public life. We can prove we're useful for society,so, intelligent men that you are, let us choose and be generous sharing the responsibilities of a home and family!

First of all, I don't understand why the gender violence exists, I think that it's a social problem very serious.
I don't agree with any type of violence, because the violence is caused by the people's hatred, and in my opinion, the men that hit the women don't love the women.

Some years ago I didn't know why, but now I am sure about that woman's problem.
My grandmother had a neighbour who was quiet young. She has three children and she always had make up on her face.
her eyes always seemed sad as if she was crying all the time. She didn't want to talk to anybody.She ran on the stairs from one floor to another.
If somebody asked her about her problems she always said she was happy but her husband mistreated her.

Hello , Iam a student and I have seen more situations of violence at school I think it is very terrible and nasty.
In my opinion the people are extremely violent , I think we play very violent games and see violent film too also specialment the young pleopple have a lot of freedom them the pleople copy this model of life and they imitate.
Every day there are violence in all the word in the hause , in the street , in teh school it is very dangerous for all the people however this can change but we must help these people because they have a problem , although is very dificult it isn¨t imposible.
In conclusion it is a very important problem and all the people should help to educate these people and finish with this problem_^the violence^_
